With Invisalign, we use a series of clear aligners to move your teeth into their ideal position, making the treatment subtler than traditional metal braces. The course of treatment with Invisalign can vary, depending on the individual case. An average treatment may be approximately 12 months in length. However, treatment times may be shorter or longer, depending on the specific case.

Most people can see a positive change in their teeth after just a few short months of wearing their Invisalign aligners. While more severe bite problems can take time to correct, changes in alignment from crooked to straight teeth, can happen within the first months of treatment.

The recommended amount of time to wear your Invisalign aligners is usually 22 hours a day. Generally, we will provide our patients with several sets of aligners at each appointment, and we will instruct you  on the frequency of changing your aligners based on the case. If you do not follow the recommended guidelines, then your treatment result and duration may be affected.
